Hens typically slow down in production during the winter, so imagine my surprise when I walked into the coop and found an egg I had never seen before! Small, light creamy tan color.
I don’t know how long it will last, but -YAY!- I’m happy to receive extra eggs in the winter of production.
I know the egg colors of most of the flock, but there are a few that have not laid eggs since we moved in. By process of elimination combined with typical egg colors for the breeds we have, it leaves possible Turkey, Oreo, or Freckle.
Whose egg could it be??
