I thought all my life that I loved ice cream more than anyone… and then I met Chris. He’s been begging me to go to this new ice cream place he discovered.
Where can you get deliciously educated on American history?
Enter Brooker’s Founding Flavors Ice Cream shop! The flavors are named after figures in history, the staff is dressed in colonial garb, and the theme is carried throughout the shop. The flavor concoctions did not disappoint! (Though my blurry photography does.) They also offer “drinking chocolates” and a Liberty Bell Challenge for those who aren’t afraid to partake in 13 (colonies) scoops of lactose! 😀
Chris and I were in the original location in Provo (Utah) and I understand you can also visit locations in Vineyard and Herriman, though more contemporary in style.
Chris and I enjoyed our selections sitting by the brick fireplace in the colonial tavern. Before leaving I stopped at the privy and found a humorous little nod in the toilet. (Go ahead, it’s ok to look.)
